NAVIGATING THE LISTS OF SURNAMES
A page of surnames beginning with the letter “A” will appear. Other surname letter pages are available by clicking on a tab at the bottom of the page with the first letter of the last name you need. For example, to find the name “Jones” click on the tab “J.”
- Press the CTRL and F keys to do a surname search within a surname letter page. A box will display near the upper right of the surname letter page. Type the surname in the box. The page will jump to the first instance of the surname. You can scroll through the list to find the remaining surnames.
INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE LISTS
- The “Other Info.” column gives additional information found in The Quarterly Table of Contents for some of the articles in the quarterly. Checking that list will help determine if your ancestor listed in the surname index is mentioned in a quarterly article.
- Quarterly issue 4 contains the surnames members are researching in addition to names mentioned in other articles in the quarterly.
