Grace DuMelle is a professional researcher and serves on the genealogical reference staff at the Newberry  Library in Chicago.  She is the author of “Finding your Chicago Ancestors:  A Beginner’s Guide to Family History Research in the City and Cook County.”  That book won awards from the Midwest Independent Publishers Association and the Illinois Woman’s Press Association.
